About Acrolinx Profiles

Astoria checks the quality of documents using profiles established in Acrolinx.

Once configured, Astoria polls the Acrolinx server for the supported list of profiles (by default, once every 60 minutes). Users can select one or more profiles when submitting a job to check a document.

An administrator can define a default profile set for checking documents, and the profile is automatically selected when a user first issues the Check with Acrolinx command for a document. See Configuring the Default Profile for Checking. However, users can select a different profile to use for the check. Once a document is checked, the profile last used to check the document is identified in the Acrolinx Last Rule custom attribute automatically applied to the document, and overrides the default profile for the document.
