Using Filters for Conditional Processing

Specify filters in the command dialog for conditional processing.

Once filters have been defined and made available to documents, they can be used to control the content exported for a variety of commands where content is exported from the repository. These processes include:

Foreground Export
Background Export
Compose with DITAOT
Compose with Antenna House
Start Translation

The dialogs for performing each of these commands contains a Filtering section.

Expand the Filtering section of the dialog, then select the By Attribute check box.
In the Filter field, select the desired filter from the list.
Note: The list contains only the filters that have been made available for the object selected for processing.
Specify any other options for the processing command and click OK.

The system will apply the filter criteria to perform conditional processing during the execution of the command.
